Harlow loves art these days!

Violet FOUR months

 I  interrupt Harlow's Birthday Week to bring you: Violet, 4 months! This month she can already roll over (both ways!). She's very aware of her surroundings and watches her sister ALL the time. We are dealing with our first (four) ear infections this month, so she has been under the weather lately, but still lights up and smiles whenever anyone talks to her. She loves to be held and cuddled at night. We are having so much fun watching her grow!

Birthday Week

Tomorrow is the official start of Harlow's Birthday Week. She has lots of people coming to visit to celebrate her 2nd birthday, we are looking foward to it! She is growing up too fast and looking more and more like a teenager every day (see pic below). I am going to try to put several Harlow themed blog posts up this week!

The little things

I have a goal of trying to take more photos of just everyday things with the girls...with my "real camera" I call it i.e not the iphone. The biggest reason is to capture the little sweet things I want to remember. Also, I want to get better at taking photos indoors without ideal lighting situations. I am inspired by the bloggers who do "photo a day" projects. I just don't want to be constricted to making that goal. I also believe in trying to enjoy the moment without having to worry about taking a photo every second...just trying to find a balance! So...here are a couple to start my new project.

3 months!

Violet is 3 months old today. She is a good baby. She is a little more "vocal" than Harlow but that's ok, she is the second child so needs to get our attention somehow! She currently likes: sleeping in her swing, snuggles, cashing out at 7:30 or so pm and then waking up at 2am and 6am, cooing, having her hands near her face, and her exercise mat. Currently she is hating: baths (brrrr), being cold in general, breastfeeding when there are too many distractions (or she's not hungry), loud noises (she startles easily), and when her sister is not so "gentle" with her.
