11 months!

In one more month my BABY will be one! I think she changed a lot since her 10 month pics. She is looking more like a toddler and less like a baby. *sniff* She is still just pulling up but not standing or walking on her own yet. She is still pointing a lot to things. The funniest thing she does this month is her secret language she has mostly with Bugs (the cat) and sometimes with Burger (the dog). When she sees them she starts talking and it goes something like this: "gla gla glug glug glug". The other cute thing new this month is hugging dolls and stuffed animals. How does she know to do that? Probably daycare, they teach her everything, ha. See pic below for hugging example. My parents were just here but working on the house has taken a back burner to playing with Harlow. My mom is the "grout nazi" I say, and will never let my dad finish the tile in the kitchen. So, the kitchen after pictures are NEVER coming! Ok, on to the pictures...

Mirror Mirror

Another photo op idea via pinterest. The weather was supposed to be almost 70 in NC this weekend so I wanted Harlow to get the chance to wear this adorable Matilda Jane dress that has been hanging in her closet. She is getting so big these days and I am fairly sure by the time the weather gets nice, it won't fit her anymore. Well it was really wet outside so we moved the shoot indoors. I guess the weather didn't matter. Oh well. I couldn't decide if I liked B&W or color, so here are two collages.

Peek A Boo

During our 11 month photo shoot, Harlow grabbed this blanket and started playing peek a boo with herself. I didn't have time to get my camera settings right or anything, just HAD to catch the moment. Harlow has found yet another use for the best blankets ever (Aden + Anais)!

TEN months!

Tomorrow Harlow will be ten months old. I didn't do a great job with the pictures this time with all the craziness around the holidays. It is also getting very difficult to keep her in the chair! I had to do them a little early because we left for Michigan on the 19th. So, Harlow is spending her first Christmas is Michigan!

This month has been a big one. Harlow FINALLY sprouted her top two teeth. She is now pulling up on EVERYTHING. She has seemed to just become so smart and understand what we are saying this month. The Christmas tree is her favorite thing. She is always pointing to it and looks at the lights in awe. We are hoping for a white Christmas here in Michigan so Harlow can experience her first snow! Happy Holidays!

Bath Baby

Harlow's bath obsessions: 1. Baby washcloths, she has to have every one that is in the tub in her hand. 2. The hair washing cup, she tries to drink out of it even if it's REALLY full. 3. The drain and faucet, I guess shiny silver is intriguing.

Christmas

We are getting excited for our first Christmas with Harlow! Since she doesn't know the difference this year, I didn't want to go crazy with gifts but I did fill her stocking today. Mostly it's useful things I needed to buy anyway. She is just starting to get the hang of a sippy cup. I got a baby toothbrush for her, two (about to be four) teeth. Her hair is finally getting long enough to need a comb. She doesn't have any bath stuff that really bubbles up and finally, I couldn't resist getting an ugly doll since they were half off! I'll probably get them all out before Christmas but it was fun anyway!

All Girl

We put Harlow in this today for a little photo shoot. (I didn't buy it for the record, it was a gift) but she loved it. She loved wearing it and looking at it in the mirror. I might have a girly girl on my hands!
