15 months!

15 month stats: We have a chunker on our hands, although the Dr. said her belly was "adorable", so I'm not too worried!
Height 30.75 cm (57%)
Weight 24 lb 7 oz (87%)
She has blossomed into a true toddler in the last few weeks. She is not a baby anymore :-(. Her personality is really showing, it is so much fun! She is determined and smart and stubborn too. She is also funny and goofy and happy as ever. She is starting to imitate things we do. We have been putting sunscreen on her and she has become obsessed with the sunscreen tube and (pretending) to put on the sunscreen on herself and everyone else. If you don't want a sunburnt chin, Harlow's your girl!

Pinterest project

This project cost $16 and I'm sure will last Harlow several years! It is an oil drip Pam from wal mart (auto section $12), Command strips to hang ($4) and the letter magnets were hand me downs. Next time I'll try to place it straight, haha, those Command strips don't budge once you commit!

Happy and sad news

Happy news:
Harlow is walking! She has been able to take a few steps for a little over a month now, but this week she started really walking instead of "default to crawl". Just in time for nice weather! I see lots of trips to the park in our future...

Sad news:
Our sweet kitty Bugs (we think) was hit by a car this week. Poor Mark buried him in our backyard on his birthday. We are sad. He was a cool cat. We decided to let him outside about a year ago and I still think it was the right decision. He was SO happy to be outside. He was a hunter but also a big snuggler. I got Bugs when Mark and I first started dating and he will always bring us fond memories of that time.

One year of chair photos

I don't think I will continue the chair photos now that Harlow is one (it's just too hard to keep her in that chair!) But don't worry, there will be plenty of photo shoots this year. Here is a collage of the first year. Month one cracks me up!
