Now that the crib is in her room, it's looking a little more like a nursery. But I wanted a room she could grow into, so we left the bed in there and it's not too babyish. It still looks a little bare, but I'm hoping to continue to add to it!
Details about the room: A couple years ago we ripped up the carpet when this was Mark's practice room to reveal basically a wood sub floor that had paint splatters all over it. I decided to paint it white. I also painted the walls a color called "antique pink" I wanted it subtle and it looked very light. But, I figured since it had "pink" in the name, it would be pink. Well really it's white. So I spent a couple hours painting a white room, white. That's ok though in some lights there is a hint of pink and it needed a fresh coat anyway. Everything else in the room is repurposed except for the Expedit shelf, art above the crib, and ledge shelves from Ikea. Oh and the bedspread was on sale at Urban Outfitters.
